Troubleshooting
If your background is black instead of transparent, it's possible that you have two graphics processor in your PC/Laptop. Unfortunately this is a bug on Godot and I cannot fix it directly. The workaround is force the game to use the integrated graphics.
Right click on the executable > Run with graphics processor > Integrated graphics

Also getting black screens and screen flickering when running the game and I click on the screen.

good project but getting black screen (window not transparent) :(
maybe bc my resolution is not 16:9 my screen is 16:10(1440x900)

does that happen after swapping the monitor? Restarting the game should help.
restarting doesn't seem to help for me on either monitor, it stays black. extremely cute game though i hope you can fix this!

it doesn't with 0.1.2 D: there's a 1px border around the screen thats not black now

so maybe problem is that im use amd card?
Ok I'll look into this. Please let me know more info to help the debugging.
When I swap monitor, the background turns black on my main monitor, and clicking on the black part make it transparent temporarily, and click on on the cat/book makes the bg black again. Restarting the game fixes it for me. Does that happen to you all?
What's the OS (Win7/8/10/11)? What's your Graphics card? Resolution? Single or multi monitor setup?
